Steam Not Opening – Fixed

 8. Turn Off Anti-virus and Firewall 

Antivirus/firewall software can also wreak havoc on the Steam programme. By temporarily disabling your antivirus/firewall, you can simply rule out this possibility.

Check your Antivirus programme for banned files as well; it’s possible that the Antivirus has blocked Steam client-related files that are required to operate the application. To do so, follow these steps:
