Steam provides the facility of taking a screenshot of the current in-game. Online gamers know the significance of taking a Screenshot of what’s happening on their screen as they can publish on their steam profile or upload on the various social media platform.
Screenshots are also important for reporting bugs and acquiring useful information. Steam makes it easy to take a screenshot of the current in-game screen just by pressing the F12 functional key.
As you take a screenshot, a small notification pop up that the Screenshot has been saved to your computer, but sometimes it becomes difficult o locate where the screenshot has been saved. In this post, we will share two ways to access the Steam Screenshot Folder.
Method 1: Screenshot Manager
Step1: Launch the Steam App Window on your computer.
Step2: Go to the upper left corner of the screen and click View.
Step3: From the dropdown menu, select Screenshot. The Screenshot Uploader window will appear.
Step4: In the Steam screenshot manager, you will access the saved screenshot of the game. You can also directly access the screenshot through the local hard drive by clicking the Show on Disk button.
Method 2: Accessing the Screenshot Folder Physically
Each Steam user has his or her screenshot folder where all their in-game screenshots are saved.
This particular folder is located where your Steam app is currently installed on your PC, the local disk C.
Step1: Open your File, Explorer.
Step2: Now, simply add the following link in the search box to directly open the screenshot folder.
C:\ Programfiles (x86) \ Steam \ userdata\ <yourSteamID> \ 760 \ remote\ <app – ID> \ screenshots
At the place of <yoursteamID>, you have to enter your unique Steam ID.
How to find your Steam Id?
If you don’t know your Steam Id, follow the below-mentioned instructions:
Step1: Launch Steam.
Step2: Click View from the top menu.
Step3: Click Setting and select interface.
Step4: Ensure that the Display Steam URL address when the available option is selected.
Step5: Scroll down to the bottom of the window and click OK.
Step6: Click on the Steam profile name, and from the dropdown, select Profile.
Step7: Now, you will see a URL at the top of the window with the long code that will be your Steam Id.
